    Tiki in Thailand

I have a bunch of photos of Creeds boat as I was interested in it before I knew the story. It was being marketed to me.

Not all of us that go to Thailand for a boat are "bottom feeders". Some of us are willing to pay a fair price to get "Hylas", "Hans Christian", or "Outbound" quality. An interior of a Hylas 46 is an amazing thing with wonderful quality. That RB Tiki looks just Ok. Barely the quality of a Catalina built in Florida. Certainly nothing to be proud of as a custom boat. If the Hans Christian craftsmen came over to inspect the interior of that Tiki, I think they would be laughing all the way to the bar.

Maybe quoting higher, and giving the customer a little more then he expects would be a better business model.

They better keep quiet and go to bank, not to bar :D How many boats do they sell per year, in their price range?

    Hello Mr. Dutz,

Thanks for your good advice, after reading this blog and the LOW PRICED CATAMARANS blog......seems like this guy has many dissatisfied angry customers....

You would think a honest business man would not have so many angry past customers, must be more than a dozen customers very angry !! they all state the have been ripped off or robbed, cheated, conned, mislead, fraud...complaints go on and on !!

    Thanks Again

    Moderator?? Enough!!

Hi Swabber, your words indicate that you are a reincarnation of SiamSailor or also_concerned. Maybe I'm wrong but that doesn't matter. For sure you are not the innocent 1st time poster you pretended to be.

As was stated before we will not reveal any new facts. Potential customers have enough stuff to read. And for sure they will come to their own conclusions about the huge egos involved and the lack of personal and business integrity shown on both sides of the story. And they will as a result buy second hand, a production catamaran, build themselfes or maybe manage their own build.

This threat becomes a sequel to the "Low Price Catamarans" thread that was closed before. I vote for this thread to be closed, too.

    Require the IP trace

RB Power & Sailing Co.;Ltd. officially requires the IP trace of this "gentleman " from the Moderator of BoatDesign.net .

It has been requested one time to all posters to stop defaming this Boatyard with posts without any proof , by the Moderator himself .

It seems a target impossible to reach as obviously this forum is used and abused for personal reasons by anonymous posters .

We don't want to file a Cour Case against this web site owner , as it is surely not himself to keep publishing these defamations ; in the mean time by many well known sentences , it has been worldwide stated and accepted that the owner of a URL is responsible for ANYTHING published , no matter if directly or via a third person as a post , even anonymous .

For the last time we ask to the Moderator to cancel all the offending posts , the complete thread 'low cost catamaran' ,to forward to us the IP trace of the offending posters , to ban the access to this forum to the anonymous affending posters .

Myself personally appreciate BoatDesign as a valuable source of informations and ideas ; it has been abused by some-few- persons , and it is time for the Moderator to properly react .

The web is a precious tool and we , all together , should not let few anonymous criminals to damage it ; i ask then a fast and active intervention to protect not only RB , but the same value of this website .

    For R&B

    R&B

    Who am I.

RWJ That is Rodney Wayne Jones.

Why don't you come and visit me in San Diego so you can call me a liar face to face.

    Sir,
the Tiki 38 finished like the one visible in the link http://picasaweb.google.de/Maughidhoo/Tiki38_Maughidhoo3# will cost around 185,000 USD, but final price will be detemrined by an equipment list to be discussed. We have no interets to be invoved in a construction of a Tiki 30 for which company profit will be very low and construction it is complicated as much as the Tiki 38. We can propose to you a Tiki 38 new just finished by a colleague yard and on which I can assure the quality on hulll construction even interior isn't on the level of the Maughidhoo3 but can be modify. Requested price it is 125,000 USD for the boat completed and ready to sail. Boat hull it is build in composite strip planking and it is ligher than original Wharrham Tiki 38. Let me know if interested.

    Best regards

    clever man

    =======================================================

    Mr. Rodney Wayne Jones :

The Tiki on the photos of that link , is NOT my Tiki .

You wrote :I have a bunch of photos of Creeds boat as I was interested in it before I knew the story. It was being marketed to me.

But you don't have any photo of Creed's boat ,that is anyway my boat .

This is why you have been called a lier . You don't have any photo and you never received any email from us , the owners , as i never yet marketed this boat .

And why you don't come to visit me at www.pattayakombatvillage.com

    or www.kombatgroup.com as i own a thai boxing school in Pattaya ?:D :D :D

    scary eh ?

You have seen pics of a similar boat but you are so clever that you know about the quality of my boat ..... you must then have seen it in your glass ball .

Anyway i never offered this boat to you , but ******* did , trying to help us to sell this boat; i did not know about .

Before posting your smart comments about my work , would you please have a look at it ? Unuasual proceeding in San Diego ?

Of course those are not the photos.....That was a link that I used when I approached Andamann about building a boat of this quality. He then e-mailed me a bunch of photos of Creed's boat and offered the boat to me.

I never said that you offered the boat to me. I said the "boat was marketed to me".

You can see the quality of the work in the photos, and it's basically home built backyard quality in my opinion. Just look at those fugly home built hinges on the hatches. You put some of the same photos up on your website.

Good quality, bad quality, it doesn't matter. Working with your company would surely be unpleasant.

Your character and personality shines through with every post you write.

    Feeding the trolls

At least where I come from you need an official request from a court to get any IP. I guess it's the same where you come from. Maybe Thai laws are weaker...
BTW: The IP won't help you much. Do you think that any provider will pass on the user's name and address without a court decision. Maybe in some third world banana republic...

Well to me it's not the anonymous posters that put the boatyard in a bad light. They just made some minor to ridiculous points and destroyed their own credibility by posting with many differnt nick names.
But the reaction of the boatyard's owner is what will keep people from doing business with RB.

Again maybe in Thailand but not over here. Courts have made very different decisions on responsibility depending on individual cases. In this case I don't think you would win anything.

Again most of your request is not in line with laws in many countries. Who are you to request IPs or that someone be banned? Attorney, judge and hangman in one person? Or just the lord himself?

As I said I vote for this thread being closed. You keep digging yourself a deeper hole in the **** with every post that YOU do.
Still I hope this threat stays online even if closed. It provides much insight what it means to do business with some people.

Moderator: Please consider the following procedure instead of deleting a complete threat. RB provides a complete list of _obviously_ offending posts to be deleted. Replace content of each post you think is in deed offending by a phrase stating "Deleted on request of RB Powersailing to prevent legal actions against the forum owner".
That way most of the posts will stay online, especially the posts of RB and other Thai friends.
Or just open a Paypal Donation account reserved for legal issues like this. I'd happily put a few EUR into that and if others follow you could just lean back, relax and see what happens.

    I forgot:

If you want my IP: I am currently not using any obfuscating proxy system so it should be easy for you to get it. If not here it is 84.136.205.164

If you know a bit about the net you will be able to identify my ISP. If you know a bit more you could even find out a region or city where I may be.
If you want to get any closer you'll have to spend some money on attourneys and try to get a German court to suport your case and demand my name to be unclosed :p

They know where you are. Coordinates 41.018600 / 28.964701. So enjoy eating the Kebab and wait for Thai troops to arrest you.
Can you here them coming?? :D
