As an opposite to the usual construction/build articles, this was interesting, in a sad sort of way:

Follow the link for details and lots more pictures: Wreck Removal

Somehow the though of all that work by many craftsmen is just sad to me.

That's disgusting, there is heaps of salvage there, that sort of waste is sickening IMO.

Agreed... With that some of that equipment, and some wires, it should be possible to pull that boat closer to dry land go for a fast/ crude stripdown.....

In a setting like that, it doesn't matter if something gets destroyed.

I do not understand why some gets upset of the fact that this boat gets destroyed, in a feeling kind of way. This is a boat, a boat shall be used, it will not last for an eternity (nor cars), this one got a shorter life span, sombody probably even needed a new boat, so maybe the people building this originally, even got a new order, more work, more money, food on the table.

    It's like spending fuel....

But to throw away all hatches, gear, sinks, equipment..... That's a waste....

(Suddenly realized i shot myself in the foot there...:p )...

Yeah, now that would be fun! more exciting too for everybody else, not that swinging a shovel around ain't exciting, just it's only exciting for the driver! Maybe that wasn't the idea tho'!
