Alls well that ends well, good entertainment for a while, bless all your little pumping hearts.

We have a line of (hopefully) squalls developing some 150km away and a NNE breeze of 19 knots pushing moisture in towards them. Maybe a good drop of rain to put some water in the (drinking water supply) dams.

The next version of my boat is starting to develop. Couple of months and another model.

Seasonal salutations all, don't drink or eat too much, enjoy all your days and nights as I intend to do with enthusiasm as usual.

    Thanks, masalai

Westlawn remember buddy your English is better than my Malay / Indonesian whatever! Also remember that most of the guys on here English (or a version of) is their 'mother tongue' if this forum was in another language we probably wouldn't be on it - you and 'Danish' would be bored to talking to each other! Never feel that you need to appoligise for your English, it's pretty damn good! And seasons Greetings to you! No matter your religion - that is between you and your God(s) the rest ? you will do for me friend!

Main: Roast chicken (Emu road kill), special sauces, spuds (from Victoria), pumpkin (home grown) & beans (from the freezer) with of course a cheeky white wine.

Next: pavlova, fresh diced strawberries, icecream and home (me - not from packet) made custard. local coffee roasted and ground to my order, with scotch and a port for afters.

    Just simple fare.... Happy eating.

No holidays here. I will probably have to go to the bank on the 25th. Even if I don't I get a kick out of doing so. Might buy the misus a new bicycle ,her old one is a bit knackered she puts a lot of miles in going to the market.

Monkey brains is popular here in Malaysia, eaten right from the still live monkey that is braced in a special table with thumb screws that hold the skull. The top of the head is removed like boiled egg. The brain is eaten with a spoon and I am told the monkeys eyes go round in their sockets as the brain is eaten

Cananbalism was popular at one time too, but that also is frowned upon now.

I don't know what I will be having,-- probably a Big mac,--Im sure they are open.

I know what I am having tonight though,-- Thai food

Westie, That type of exposure is locally (around where I live) called "plumbers arse" - not the display of nickers, but the exposure of bum cheeks.

Exposure at the other side is called delightful anticipation?

Frosty's not a barmaid? & monkey brains for dinner is a test of your intestinal fortitude, or, are you pissed enough not to notice. A rite of passage?

I don't see where Frosty said he partook? Nor have I? But it is a local delicacy, & plenty of monkeys. Other cultures prefer dogs, cats, snakes, rats, locusts, snails, frogs legs, whale flesh, dolphin meat, dugong, turtle, (all of which I would not necessarily eat as the idea is offensive), but the best meat for the health of the eater, minimal environmental impact for the farmer (no where near endangered or diminished in numbers despite European cry-babies protestations), is kangaroo.

Mary was the barmaid. Xmas greetings on this eve.

    Im not a barrester either!!

Poor ole Walrus, yet another year nearer the ole peoples home. How the hell he holds down a job --jeees. A brainless monkey must be able to work in uk now then.

As a travelled mariner ( you said it) and having the opportunity to have vistied Malaysia and shot a few locals (you said it) you must have been aware of this act of eating live monkey brains.

What are you eating tomorrow a dead turkey. Oh you dirty Bas@#$%
