Well if you need it built, I can do out of Aluminum and using hydraulics. Similar to a boat lift, just attached to transom. Make sure transom can handle the strain and forces. Stainless would be very expensive right now.

Here is a poor man's version seen on some fairly uninspiring multi.

I plan to have a prettier version , [not hard], on my cat for lifting the 11ft tinny with a 15hp and groceries etc aboard + using it as a wetbar, swim platform, fish killing etc etc.

It will run full width and use an electric winch and spectra for the lifting.

Looking at a cat hull, is there a possibility of having a truck tailgate configeration. Normally with hydraulics length of travel is limited by the length of the cylinder. Truck tailgate systems house the cylinder under the tray running lengthways.

This cylinder on a cat can run under the centre of the hull. Of course the hull has to re-enforced to support the structure.

Having all that framework above the deck doesn't look pretty.

Idea!!!, why not strap dingy under boat between hulls with two pulleys one front and one back. Leave about 2 -3 feet hanging behind stern including motor. An idea...

    Something like this maybe????

Very sexy but bloody expensive. I need to be able to repair in remote location's if required, so a pretty version of the agricultural earlier pic's may be better................unless we can do the scissor lift thing easily.

    Any suggestions?????

What about something like this. A platform that runs up and down a track, lifted and lowered by cylinders either side hidden under the top edges gunwales I think is the term.

    Why bad idea?

Dingy can be part of hull when it is up, Like pseudo center hull. Emergency provision, and can stay in dingy. And if catamaran flips you can lossen dingy and use as lifeboat.

Why would you want or need a pseudo center hull on a cat........that's a tri.

If it hang's lower than BD height in my case 850mm, it'll be succeptable to getting hit by wave action.

If it is above that height it'll intrude into Accom. and cockpit space too much.

Nothing wrong with your computer. When I saw I could upload Corel Draw I did. I wasn't sure if this forum converted it but probably you need Corel to see it. Here's a JPEG
