    Where is this

Just Stabben in the dark, Raggi (stabben in the dark...lighthouse.. get it ?)
Norway, of course. The Stabben Lighthouse (unmanned now) and your nearest 'club' would be in Floro

Loved your part of the world Raggi. I'll have to get back to you with an answer on this one. (Damn. Sure I was right.)
Meanwhile try this one out. Clue - It wasn't there when I was. :)

    Where is this ?

Bullseye Raggi. The Sun Voyager in Reykjavik Harbour. My young brother was there last year and sent me a series of pics to raise the nostalgia.

As for your brainteaser - I've hauled out the old charts (salt stained and limited cover) and the only two I can find which seem to fit the 'offshore' location are Bergen Point and Kjeungskjaer. (But I then cheated and 'googled' their images...neither is an exact fit) So I'll wait until a better travelled member replies.
Great looking lighthouse by the way.
    :(

Some place around 45ยบ latitude with central europe's influences (North or South , although coming from you, there is an strong possibility of it being in Free States, Goldfields, South Africa ;) ).
The little tall red building: An old port authorities or pilots one?
