I am curious what others have heard concerning the seagoing capabilities of the Wauquiez Centurion 32. Built circa 1973. Is her design considered a good offshore vessel for her size? Thanks

Sorry, I don't have any pictures or drawings. I was hoping someone might have some first-hand experience with the vessel. I know they are much more common in Europe (especially France) than in North America so I was hoping someone who has actually sailed one could chime in. They look similar to the Centurion 32 or the S&S 34. Similar vintage and style...Thanks

If I'm not mistaken, it is a Holman & Pye Brit design built by Waquiez in France. It is a fairly small 32 with fine lines. A friend sailed one from NC to Cuba & back a few years ago. Very good sailer. One issue is the cockpit drains which the Brits seem to be able to cock up. They need to be changed to a cross over design or your feet get wet all the time.
