BOATMIK: Viola 14 Sailing canoe/dinghy with Lug Rig
Lug rig is favoured option for distance events with large area on small mast. Mast can be dropped for passing under the numerous bridges in the Netherlands.
During this event (Dorestad RAID) conditions were from light to very rough and choppy water. Viola kept going when larger boats were pulling over to the side and was the fastest boat in light winds.
