A template anyone can use in order to build a test platform for the type. Based on a stock 4 x 8 foot sheet of PET, PVC or PU foam 2-3 inches thick and with a density of 60-100 kg/m/cubed. The sheet is spray laminated on a single side with polyester GRP and parts are doubled up to make fore-deck, main- and aft-deck. Volumetric displacement of the foam is 150-225 litres, mainly divided between support for a seat on the central truss and outboard or aero engine on the rear platform.
