Tanton: SightSailer 58

The SightSailing Co. of Newport, RI, has been operating tour boats for a number of years. This new 58' boat is derived from the original 46' SightSailer, and is also built of aluminum. Both boats have the characteristic long cockpit, while for this boat the passenger capacity has doubled. Interior accommodations are virtually non-existant with the exception of the required equipment for these inspected vessels. The sloop rig has forward-swept spreaders like the 46, and has a bowsprit for "feeling".
