The truck tarp is glued to itself and to the gunwales (but not anything else) using HH-66 a specialty rubber cement that bonded really well to both the tarp and the conduit (the regular plumbing cement did not do the job). I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to prototype, there is a small learning curve RE quantity to put on and how long you let it pre-dry before bringing the surfaces together, but not too bad.
