      Like the curved foil! Yves, what percentage of the total displacement of the boat do you think the foil would lift when operating at it's optimum design point?

      Thank you. With the limited amount of research on the curved foil, I am hard press to give you a very scientific answer. Definitly not a foiler, the curved board will of course become more efficient as you gain speed and with angle of heel. I could see a gain of about 10 % of the displacement possible. I hope to get a more appropriate answer after some mesh testing. On the other end, I see that it would make for a stronger board construction, a higher aspect ratio and a more efficient foil as such.
