Close up of bow after the bow strip was removed. The screw holes can be seen as well as the bow ring shank hole. Some of the screws were so deteriorated, they broke off in the wood. This is of concern to me and I feel I'm going to have to drill out the screws, then glue plug in the resultant holes to be able to reattach the new bow rib.
