Milton Thrasher: Irwin 23 5' Mast extension

After proving the ability of the Irwin 23 to carry the larger Star Class mainsail by using a sliding gunter rig, a 5' permanent mast extension has been made by using a 3' section of mast as an internal sleeve as shown in this photo.
