Broad outline of the prototype in progress: hydroskis 2500mm, upper longeron 2000mm, lower longeron 1500mm, beam 1200mm to outboard of motor-mounts. Pusher propeller units could be added so as to operate clear of the rear lift motors and propellers once the latter are stowed, within a static fitment of six motors. Nonetheless the use of four vectoring motors as shown here is preferable, whether actuated or set manually for hover and cruise. Note that in the first instance the prototype is set to be tested as a pure hydroplane with a pair of fixed motors and pusher-propellers mounted at the same points on the rear power-rail, albeit perpendicular. Propellers are of 22" carbon fibre and the motors 800w apiece with a nominal thrust of 2.0kg (4.4 lb) at 55% rpm. For static starts these aero-propellers will likely penetrate the waterline, operating initially to some extent as water-screws.
