The end-product basically comprises six sheets of scaled 4' by 8' given to fore and aft planes (2), side panels (1), fuselage sides (1), fuselage upper/lower (1) and lateral panels incorporating motor-mounts. In this case however the model comprises a dozen sheets laminated to a single side, which has the benefit of speed of production and the advantage that the sides are lapped along their length instead of abutted. Rear plane operates as a PAR, else 'power-assisted ram-wing' in surface-effect terminology, which ought to compensate for the pitch-up moment at the forward end and result in net lift. Though as ever, the proof of the pudding...
