I worked on this back in '98, and still like the model. It was modeled and rendered in Form-Z. I could see these silently zipping through the canals of Amsterdam...

Now that IS a picnic boat - and something from 'outside the square'.
      Lovely

Something from outside the square that will still fit into a nice little square... slip :) Very sleek.

I've also been curious to see some work modeled in Form-Z - it's a beautiful model and we haven't see an overabundance of Form-Z work that I'm aware of.

Hope to see you feature more of your work in our gallery too! You also have a nice web site.

I know Rhino has become the standard for 3D yacht modeling, and I like it, but they don't (and never will) make a version for Mac, so there you go. Form-Z is nice software, and the nurbs tools have dramatically improved with the latest version (4.0), but I'm still getting the hang of it.

I've been checking out the depth and breadth of boatdesign.net, and am really impressed with the work posted here. This user gallery is a wonderful idea, we all like to share and show off a bit. :)

Would you get in this boat?
A bit much - maybe navy blue with gold stripes would help.

Breathtaking ! I can see it doing its thing with people aboard in some idyllic settings which it would add to-not detract from. Great work!
