Following a static buoyancy test the upper spars have been extended to 7' in length and remaining parts of the frame adapted to imperial measures. The principal reason for this is that the overall width could be adjusted to suit whichever trailer, and the remaining proportions scaled as appropriate to maintain the identical outline. In effect the craft can now be assembled from four 12' spars viz. one apiece to form the upper and lower frame of the side-panels, one to provide the four parts of the centre-deck and another to provide for uprights along with power-rails fore and aft (that at the fore omitted here).
