colinhilton: Disposition of Motors on 8' Catamaran Quadcopter

A mock-up of the layout for flight-testing in hover and ground-effect transition to water. The initial format would be likely to feature fixed lift-motors forward and vectoring rearward, as the latter apply a slight nose-down pitch in the cruising condition that could be compensated for by running the former. Nonetheless a priority for testing is to fit only the rear motors in the perpendicular in order to evaluate performance as a pure hydroplane. Motor mounts seen here are fixed, but could be replaced by axles in the event that power-units require vectoring. Note that additional pusher-units could be applied at the stern in this layout, tho' rear lift motors and propellers would need to be stowed prior.
