colinhilton: Craft for 100mm laminate and 6000mm double-skinned FRP

A working template for hydroplanes of six metres length that displace 150 litres or more. The area to either side of the tail-fin exceeds two feet (610mm) square so that DIY foam sheets of 4 x 2 feet can be applied to the underside of the aft-deck in support of heavier outboards and aero-engines. The design is optimised for a cantilevered boom projected from the aft-dec to 33% forward to reduce adverse pitch moments. The operator will be upright here as with a motorcycle or jet-ski.
