Daiquiri thanks for the comment. This was one of about four concept designs for a large water taxi for moving people from small cruise ships, day tours and the like with a crew of two. The bow was designed to discourage people from going fwd. The fwd deck/cabin was to have a head, cold locker and storage for lite luggage (day packs). I agree a flat area is more practical but as it was decided that there was also no formal anchor arrangement there probably no need. There was also a small dive boat based on the same ideas.
