SailDesign: Prudence. Too much?

Not sure whether I like the mast or not. Kind of looks like Boba Fett, but has a certain utility. Constructive criticism welcome (snide remarks in hushed voices, please...) :)

      I like it very much. I wonder if it could be used to support some kind of awning-in a classy sort of way-to protect from the Florida sun?

      @Doug Lord - I'm just about to post the "final" (Hah!) version, with an improved stick. Definitely something could be done for a sun-shade. :)
