Dim: Ship's door ( SFS 8181 ). Common view.

Door under the Swedish standard SFS 8181. We established such doors on two small ferries for the Finnish customer, which we have made this year. Is simulated not only door, but also all its kinematics. If to turn the arm - all dogs are turned too.

nice work Dim! kinematics also in inventor? can inventor run stand alone or need autocad? LT ok?

      Thank you, Yipster.
"Inventor" is fully a stand alone programm. He does't need any other Cad-s or MDT. I use it for check a kinematics. Possibility of check detail's sizes at their motion is "root" of the "Inventor".

      Hey Dim,
your model is great as always.

As I wrote already to saildesign and duluthboats
your 3D-models could be a starting point of a database for boat design equipment.
As a first step you can upload your model under http://www.3dcontentcentral.com , -User Library - Miscellaneous - Various Components.
That is what I did with an anchor and so on and duluthboats with a propeller.
From that place anyone can view the model in 3D and download the model in the format he wants.
Your upload format should be a solid (Acis or STEP).

It would be geat if you are willing to upload the model.
