RMA: Close up of the single line reefing design

The original boom was designed with a track for track-mounted reefing blocks on the starboard side. These were not on the boat when I purchased it. Hard to find a replacement for <$400/block. My new design uses 2 high-load triple deck organizers to implement a single line reefing system. The loss of the track means the reefed clew cannot be adjusted fore and aft like an outhaul. However, it greatly simplifies reefing. The clew and tack rings on each reef will have Rutgerson Quick Reef Solution low friction blocks installed to help mitigate the enormous friction associated with single line reefing.
