    Hi I want to try and build a new rudder for a 28ft sailboat. Current rudder has core damage and delamination - not too hard to fix, probably will fix it but I thought I will try to make a better rudder than the stock one. Current rudder is very fat - about +5mm extra material on rudder tube...

    Add-on foils or trim tabs

    Motorboats have different foils that can be added to outboard motor or trim tabs. Do sailboats have any similar options? Adjustable trim tabs would probably enhance downwind performance probably - no?

    What is the best rental boat for tourists, boat that tourists take and use bythemselves? I mean a boat that offers more activities than cruising around:rolleyes:
