    Why don't boats have gears?

    :idea: If you take an ordinary manual gearbox with a ratio at first gear 1:4 and second gear 1:2,25. Turn it around and then you do have gear ratio 4:1 vice 2,25:1. Then you have geared out again. ;) Everything is possible, unless drunken sailor and small babies. Cheers!

    As calculated by the weight specification from seller the plates density is about 1,0. Also about the same as epoxy. So I am convinced about the weight will stay close to 25kg. If the strength is enough with this material.
