DESIGN AWARD:

JAGUAR MARINE
APRIL 2001 AWARD

Jack Clark begain racing in 1984 and had a great first year, but soon decided that he wanted to race a boat of his own design. In 1985, he did just this, with a 35' wooden Jaguar tunnel hull. The design was successful, but the next step was to find a construction method which was lighter and stronger.  During 1986 and 87, Clark invented and refined his cored fiberglass construction techniques, leading to several winning boats including Thriller and Special Edition which set a open class speed record of 109.45 mph in 1988.

Jaguar Marine is now building three beautiful high-performance models including a 35' and a 50' cat and a new 50' v-hull.  All three models feature lines which are clean and purposeful, powerful and elegant.
