What is wiki.boatdesign.net?

The Boat Design Wiki is currently in the beta testing phase.

The idea of this "wiki" is to provide a collaborative knowledge base encyclopedia relating to boat design and boat building.

The forum provides active discussion and an opportunity for questions to be asked, but much great information developed in the disucssion format is not tightly categorized. The wiki allows information to be presented, developed, and edited by the community in format defined by topic.

All Boat Design Forum Members are welcome to post articles in the Boat Design Wiki. As we work through any issues during the beta phase of the Boat Design Wiki, please post any questions or problems you encounter at http://www.boatdesign.net/forums/wiki/

Thank you all for helping with the start of yet another phase of the Boat Design Net Community which has grown so rapidly these last few years.

How to Get Started

Use the search box to the right to search for existing topics. If a boat design topic is not already in the wiki, the search results page will give you the option to then create that topic.

(Please visit the Boat Design Forums for active discussion, questions, and answers. Please contribute to this wiki if you are willing to sumarize or provide insightful information on single topics that will provide a framework topic by topic)
