Doug Lord: Crossbow fl

Ballast is sealed in wing and wing moves side to side while ballast inside moves simultaneously. The buoyancy of the sealed wing is way in excess of the buoyancy required to float the ballast so the wing can be used to right the boat regardless of the position of the ballast. This is a partially complete model of the 14' Crossbow. The boat is designed to be an exciting,but safe boat for disabled and/or physically restricted sailors allowing planing off the wind with an asy spin, DSS and the Trapwing ballast system.
