For my final project at The Landing School I chose to design what I am calling a ‘Sport

fish Hybrid’ or ‘Sport Cruiser.’ The goal of the boat was to produce a functional 37.5’

LWL, 43.5’ LOA “sport fisherman” with the styling of a European cruiser. The boat has a

range of 350+ miles @ 30 knots and a top speed of 36 knots. It is powered by twin IPS800

drives.

This boat is

directed to a specific demographic who demand a yacht that serves for two clearly defined

purposes:

One – to be a competitive and capable “sport fishing vessel”

Two – to have substantial entertainment and accommodation value
