Here are some photos of my most recent restoration project, a clinker dinghy made from a rare tasmanian timber, Huon pine. The boat has been fitted with cloth sails, hemp rigging, wooden eyelets, brass fittings. It is ten foot long and modelled after a famous Australian boat, 'Tom thumb' which was the first vessel to begin mapping the Australian coastline south of Sydney in the late 1700's. I am fairly new at restoration and will in time be asking for advice from the forum. Cheers Tom

      Many thanks,

I must admit I have only sailed it once as my centreboard cavity needs some more work. It is a lovely boat though and the timber really shines. I have more photos if you are interested.

      Cheers

      Tom
