I have decided to draw plans for a sailing yacht, for architectural class. I have designed enough houses. Unfortunately I can't afford Autocad 2007, and Revit Building 9, but I was thinking I could draw it with any software. I would appreciate any help in this direction that I can get...Jeff

What about drawing the old fashion way. With pencil, ducks and splines. Software will not give you the feel of a boat. Unless very familiar with the program and the whole design process.
