Kioa is a 25 meters catboat designed as a mobile hotel for ecotourists in pacific islands.
The design is inspired by local architecture and materials (mahogany). The rooms of the hotel are in the hull, and the deck is a public area where locals can travel between islands. The sail is made of solar textile to power electricity on board. comments welcome |
