An Origami method of construction is adopted for this metal boat. The Pilot house offers protection and the posssibility of inside steering. A 3 to 4 people long distance offshore boat.

Nice 'traditonal' design - my concept of what an offshore cruiser should be. One point though - not shown on sketch - access to chain locker. Is it only via foreward cabin and across the double berth ? And no apparent sole (reinforced) fitted to that locker where frequent trips are necessary during island hopping cruises.

Other than that - an excellent piece of work.

Thank you. The chain locker is vitally important in a cruising boat. You made good points. The solutions are shown on the Deck Plan. And, depending on the windlass; the chosen anchors; the inner forestay location, a foredeck hatch gives access from the top to service the area.
