It is designed for the owner to put his or her own long shaft outboard motor on. The craft is pwoered by an eight horsepower Yamaha outboard. With this engine and standard prop the craft attains speeds of up to 20 miles per hour.

Very nice. Thumbs up.

Just as a gut feeling, I would put a bit more buoyancy in the forward part of those, ehm, surfboards. Just to prevent an assymetrical nosedive (by digging one of the boards into a wave, for example) and a consequent flip-over of the whole contraption.
