Lady K.Two,waiting for the tide to rise.Formaly named Te Kouma,was built in 1968 by Milford boat Builders, Allan Williams.Her construction is very strong and weighs in excess of six tonnes,length 9 Metres and a beam 3 Metres. Engine mounts run from stem to stern and is planked in Kauri which came from Kawhia New Zealand where the trees grow very slow.Powered by an original 60 HP Fordson diesel and this power unit did 18000hours before it needed work, and the bearings were perfect showing original maching marks on the crank.Now at Kaiaua,Thames New Zealand.
