This is a 3d solid model of a spade rudder, directly reverse engineered from a sailing vessel for a friend who want to build the same rudder for his boat. The wing section converted to a conventional naca0012 for easier building at home, because it is less prone to dimensional errors and marine growth etc.

So, it comes as acis .sat format. My upload limit prevents to send in other formats. Enjoy!

Hey burakreis,

What's your 3d solid modelling software? Your model is great as always. It's a petty that your upload possibilities are limited. Do you have other models to share? The approach is living by the upload of the users.

hi bernd,

i have modeled it with rhino which is specially very powerful for this kind of reverse engineering works. i am gonna try to up some more models in future...
