It's a pure flat bottom. Fiberglass over foam. This was a very interesting build wanted to try and reduce a blow overs. She has 1.7 hp and weights in at 3.5lbs...she will flay out fly. Performance, so so. Built for study not for pleasure. Thanks for your question. Andy
