Uli,

Tell us about the design and construction. It looks like glued lapstrake, but still has ribs. Very nice craftsmanship.

Well I buildet that on 2 years ago. It was a kind off a finale test at the end of my 3 1/2 years jobtraining at Martin Yachten. It has been a birthdaypresent for the sister of my ex. Boss. Well the design is the oldfashin way like this kind of boots used to be build at the Boodensee (germans biggest lake on the border to swizerland) in the erea of 1930. I buildet the boat without any plans just with my eye and the felling I had in my heart. I looked around on other boots and in the end I put the things I liked together. The planks and everthing else is epoxy glude, the rips were cooked in hot watergas after they have spand a month under water in the lake. Well the paint is clear epoxy at the bodom and I guess 9 times DD- paint (all grip) spryed. I will post same more where you will see mor about the construcion and my the last boat that I have buildl "11m one design"

You certainly do have an eye and the heart for building boats.

As Gary says, I am also very impressed with each and every one of the projects you've posted. The photos are great. The boats are fantastic. Top quality all around. And a lot of fun to see.

Thanks a lot. But I believe if you do something with deep love from your heart and your soul it has to be gerat. Well I had good "teacher's" as well and all my information (nollege) about boatbuilding did I get from them.
