ancient kayaker: Sunnyside Cruiser

My take on Walter Dean's Sunnyside Cruiser Canoe. I modified the station outlines slightly, giving them constant bilge radius between the end sections. This makes the hull suitable for transverse planking construction, in which the center part of the hull is built with identical ply planks laid gunnel to gunnel or perhaps gunnel to a bottom plank (a la Adirondack Guide Boat) with thin ply ribs to reinforce the joints. A possible future build, this would be primarily a solo canoe using a double-bladed paddle, with space for a passenger perhaps. The Sunnyside Cruiser was reputed to be fast.
