first we took the paint off the entire hull and deck. the hull structure is resorcinol one layer of 10mm cold molded mahogany over inner 9mm spruce double planking hull ;
ballast keel was removed ,by cutting off the 40mm diam steel keel bolts; rot areas detected, keel wood left to dry, all rot taken out.
