The Irwin 23 has a large cockpit which can easily handle
2 couples for an afternoon sail
or 5 agressive crew members when racing. The outboard cut out in the transom is a very practical solution for power options. I drive my Irwin 23 #24 with a 15 hp Johnson 2 cycle at 7 knots and have a Yamaha 3 hp with a Kort Nozzle for race days to
keep weight out of the stern.
