The Vanja designed by George Barons won the US A Class Championship in 1936. Plans were published by Popular Mechanics then and many models have been build from those plans. A fiberglass mold was made from one of the earliest models from which 4 hulls have been
pulled. A Vanja fiberglass hull is available from Milton Thrasher. There is a link to more Vanja information including the articles on his web pages at http://www.angelfire.com/fl4/mft that gives full details.
