An interesting looking boat. Will you have ballast that moves fore-and-aft, forward for displacement speeds, aft for planing? If so, you probably want more rocker. Remember, when you are planing you want the shortest possible waterline length: really, it can't be too short.

The bow is not meant to emerge out of the water.

The main goal of my concept is to keep the boat in a balanced absolute trim position, to dampen the raising effect of waves, or when the bow left the water even though, minimize slamming effect when running into the coming wave.



beam on waterline 4,737 m

waterplane area 54,5 m2

wetted surface area, hull 61,44 m2

wetted surface area, appendages 14 m2
