Very interesting!



It looks like the deadrise increases a lot outboard of the third strake from the keel -- about where the workman on the right has his hands. Is that correct? Seems like a good idea.



I also like that the strakes appear to be about equilateral triangle sections, rather than the more common flat-on-the-bottom, vertical-on-the-outboard-side strake. From what I've read, the triangle is more effective.



It looks like the angle of attack of the keel INCREASES aft of the step. Is that correct? Why?
