Searching in many directions led me to design this 28-footer with the bottom of a Huckins, the looks of a Down-Easter, and the canopy of an Elco. The moderate beam of 8'-6" gives this fast hull many powering options.
Built in wood by a house-builder, the boat is straightforward in all aspects of design and construction.

Lovely looking boat! Not very different from one that I'm in the process of doing a similar one myself!

Got any layout pics?

When you say 'bottom of a Hutchins', dd you mean Huckins?

You mention a 'house builder'. Has this boat been fully designed and built? Could I get a layout plan also? I'm in Savannah, GA and this looks like a good IntraCoastal Waterway weekend cruiser.
