The extended cab concept does away with the traditional separation between aft cockpit and boarding platform, combining them into one. This allows for a far larger main salon than woul otherwise be possible. A large sliding sunroof overhead and flip-up rear windows, brings this area 'outside'. A fully enclosed head / shower and direct access to the bow from the front cabin.

I know its been here awhile... just found this resource.. Haven't read the requirements for the boats, I like this design, good mix of modern and some traditional lines.

it's still my favourite choice for O-1 - though the small cockpit and overall height may have been a problem.
With a little more time, I'd like to see the project get back on track....maybe one day....
