The Wye River Marathon is held in conjuction with the MidAtlantic Small Craft Festival at St.Michaels, MD. It's a Friday event, course is 24 miles. Elektra and ECanoe were the only two finishers this October 09. Elektra is my design with MinnKota power, Torqeedo prop, two walmart 27's and a full Prius NiMH pack reduced to 27v by a switching power supply. Probably it was the Torqeedo prop that pushed us to first place against 14knot headwinds in the final 4mile slop.
