The construction is beefy enough to cope with the rigors of trailering, and is mostly single-skin FRP, with a longitudimal stiffener in way of the trailer pads. The keel itself is 1/2" thick FRP, and incorporates a good flat on the bottom, making grounding a not so serious problem. The deck and coachroof are of sandwich construction for lightness.
