This project was collaboration with Gino Finizio Design Management and Christian Grande & Partners. OPTIMUM is a yacht design concept based on the theme Luxury, which is a growing industry for financially independent people. The 12 meters yacht is designed for this segment with specification on the target group of age 55+. Luxury in OPTIMUM point of view is maximum space and comfort for two elderly people. It’s includes bigger space to live freely and giving an ambience of relaxation. What’s luxury? In opening part of the project we defined it in a mood board where we positioned luxury to be – extravagance, optimum, splendor and satisfaction. Although richness sometimes only contains diamonds and expensive shopping we decided to push the concept into new dimensions – slow luxury. Slow luxury is a consequence of rich people often living a stressful life, slow luxury focus on comfort and relaxation.
