Poor dumb guy...for what he spent on solar panels he could enjoy cruising with a 2hp motor for 10 years!

Relax this is a race for universitys actually a US team did very well last year.

The students have a great time building and designing the drive train and as a bonus they go to Holland and race and meet a lot people and having a good time.
